The LMD-1950MD LCD Monitor, is a medical-grade 19-inch (viewable area measured diagonally) LCD monitor optimized for surgical operation room environments. This monitor features a completely sealed chassis and has a 24volt DC power supply making it easy to integrate with surgical arm supports.

  • Stable Color Temperature
The internal beam current feedback circuit equipped on theBVM-A Series monitors maintains a constant color temperature over along period of time.
  • Multi-Format Signal Support
With the appropriate optional input boards installed, theBVM-A Series monitors support a spectrum of SD and HD signals withfrequency responses ranging from 15kHz to 45kHz (horizontal)/48kHz to60kHz (vertical). Input signals are scanned on the CRT raster at theirnative frequencies and native line counts, with no scan conversionprocesses involved.
  • Dual-Link HD-SDI
The BVM-A Series monitors offer dual-link HD-SDI capability(requires optional BKM62HS) meeting the SMPTE 327M standard. Using twoHD-SDI connectors in a pair, the BVM-A Series allows a variety ofdigital 4:4:4 HD signals to be accepted in both GBR and Y/PB/PR signalformats.
  • Flexible Input Configurations
The BVM-A Series uses a modular slot design so inputs can beconfigured according to individual needs. Three input board slots areavailable on all models, and three diffent optional input boards areavailable. The optional input boards can be installed in any boardslot, and in any combination.
  • Modular Monitor Control Unit (BKM-15R)
The monitor and the control panel are separate units in theBVM-A Series. This allows for greater flexibility in systemintegration. The BKM-15R can be connected using an optional mountingkit to the 24", 20" & 14" monitors, or it can be connected remotelyvia an Ethernet cable.
  • Ethernet-based Remote Control
The BVM-A Series monitors and the BKM-15R Monitor ControlUnit are equipped with Ethernet ports, allowing remote control ofdisplay parameters across a standard Ethernet connection. The BKM-15Rcan control up to 32 BVM-A Series monitors simply by connecting themusing standard Ethernet cables and hubs.
  • Memory Stick® Slot
The BKM-15R has a Memory Stick™ slot to save and load monitorsetup and adjustment data on Memory Stick media. In multiple monitorsystems, this allows data to be exchanged between units so that thesame setup and adjustment status is easily retained.
  • SNMP Remote Maintenance
The BVM-A Series monitors support the SNMP protocol throughtheir Ethernet ports, allowing maintenance information to be monitoredand logged on compatible rmote maintenance software (coming December2005).
  • Auto White Balance
The color temperature of the BVM-A Series monitos can beautomatically adjusted by the auto white balance function using theSony BKM-14L Auto Setup probe as well as probes from othermanufacturers.
  • Auto Matrix Selection and Auto Chroma/Phase/Matrix Setup
The BVM-A Series monitors automatically select the mostappropriate decode matrix from one of the three matrices (ITU 601, ITU709, SMPTE 240M), according to the input signal. An Auto Chroma/Phasesetup function is also provided, which automatically adjusts themonitor's chroma, phase and matrix using external color bars.
  • Digital Uniformity
With the BVM-A Series monitors, white can be reproduceduniformly on every point of the screen, even in the peripheral area,using the digital uniformity circuit. This adjustment can be mademanually or automatically with the use of the optional BKM-14L AutoSet-Up Probe
